We checked out Mahogany Place this morning. Although I already know that we cannot afford to live there (yet! wishing…), we decided to look around just as well. I liked the Beatrice model, but my oh my, it costs P12M. Where will I get that amount of money! We were able to view the Cristina model also. This one costs around P6M. Still too expensive for us. But the location was really ideal especially if I decide to go back to work again. They are selling lots as well, the net price of a 106sqm lot is around P1.6M, for 181sqm it’s around P3.1M. The 106sqm lot is affordable but it’s too small. And there’s no house yet. Oh well, we’re not really in a hurry to move as we already have a humble home here in Laguna. And if ever we finally decide to move, i think it will just be around Laguna still. Maybe Las Villas or Manila Southwoods… dream on.

Outlet Store at Mamplasan
I have been hearing about this for a long time, and I’ve seen the billboard along South Superhighway. However, I wasn’t able to check out the store then. Since J needs to buy rubber shoes, we decided to visit the store this afternoon. They have shoes, clothes, bags, socks, etc. They carry the brands Nike, Adidas, Puma, New Balance and Nautica. And since it’s an outlet store, the items are discounted. A Nike originally priced P8,000+ is being sold at P5,000+. I was able to get myself a pair of Airwalk slippers for P295 (mall price P395 daw). Sadly, they don’t have shoes for my kulit toddler. To go there, take the South Superhighway and exit at Mamplasan. Go straight ahead until you see the Printown building. You won’t miss it.
Paseo De Santa Rosa
We then went to Paseo De Santa Rosa. There is also a Nike outlet store in this area. J spotted 2 styles he likes but decided not to buy yet. No shoes for toddlers still. But they have shoes for little babies. Cute! We found another outlet store here. I am just not so sure if it’s Adidas or another brand. We checked it out also. AND1 outlet store is still being fixed. To go there, exit at Sta. Rosa from SSH. This is after Laguna Bel-air.
Nike Outlet Store in Marikina Riverbanks
This one has fewer stocks compared to the two outlet stores but it’s worth checking out as well. We’ll go there tomorrow. Then J will decide where he’ll purchase his shoes. Bonus: There is also a Guess outlet store in Riverbanks.

Beautiful Eyes and Other Funny Videos
He’s doing the beautiful eyes trick, but only in front of the camera. Watch it here.
Here’s kulit playing with the hamper.
And here he is walking in his daddy’s slippers. He wore the slippers by himself! Too bad I didn’t catch it in video.

What he’s up to lately
Estong likes to click his tongue a lot.
He walks while watching TV, not minding his toys on the floor, nadadapa tuloy.
He’s been collecting a lot of bumps and bruises and falls lately. Ang likot!!!
His current favorite toys – the desk fan na lagi nyang tinutumba, the clothes hamper, the plastic basket that holds his dirty clothes.
He’s been attempting to climb already. Saw him trying to climb the piano by putting his foot on the piano seat. Saw him trying climb the TV rack as well. Nakakatakot.
He’s into weightligting. He’s lifting his plastic bike, the clothes hamper and his stroller.
He enjoyed one scene from the Amazing Race where the contestants had to break a lot of plates. As in, halakhak. He laughed when he saw a commercial on TV na sinampal yung kumakain. His daddy said that he probably would enjoy watching The Three Stooges.
He likes McDonald’s hamburger. He can eat almost half of the burger.
He’s talking. Di ko nga lang naiintindihan. When he would like to be picked up pero deadma lang namin sya, he would say something like “nyenyenyenye… memememe…”
When he wakes up before me in the morning (which happens more often), he would stand on his playpen and would try to reach me using his bolster pillow. Tapos papaluin nya ako ng pillow. Pero madalas mabait sya, he would just lie or play on his playpen and wait for me to wake up. Minsan pag inip na, he would cry or shout. I would then turn the TV on, tahimik sya ulit. ;D
He likes to drink water.
He’s enjoying his bathtime again. He somewhat lost his love for baths during summer. Kung kelan umuulan at malamig, saka sya naaliw maglaro sa tubig.

Delivery From FedEx

dear mommy happy mother’s day!!! estong & daddy
And here’s the fedex boy…

Got the flowers on a stormy Saturday, the day before Mother’s Day. J said Island Rose doesn’t do provincial deliveries on Sundays. (Yes, taga-probinsya ako. Sa Laguna). I love their roses. Fresh and simply beautiful. No fillers. I never liked flower arrangements with so much fillers. And I believe their flowers cost a lot cheaper than those ordered from shops. The downside is the recipient can know for the cost of your flowers by browsing the site. But I guess it doesn’t matter. It’s the thought that counts.
My bouquet is named Glitter in case you want to know.
Si McDo

Typhoon Caloy. Signal #1. No cable. Internet (as usual) is down. Went to the mall. Look who Estong met.

Same Time Last Year

The picture on the left was taken April 2005. The picture on the right was taken April 2006. Look how he has grown!
Tired
I haven’t scrapped these last couple of weeks. I have started a few pages but I haven’t finished any of those. I guess I’m not in the mood. I always feel tired nowadays. Taking care of a toddler is quite challenging. Following him around is very exhausting. Plus, I also do the cooking. I was already close to thinking of getting him a yaya already. Pero ayoko pa pala. Besides, I’m not sure if we can fit another helper in our budget.
