Busy Day

Went to LTO Alabang for J’s renewal of license. While he was renewing his license, Estong and I stayed at St. Jerome and watched a wedding that was going on. Had lunch at Glorietta. Got myself a new scrapbooking mag (been buying a lot of mags lately but haven’t started a page yet, hayyy).

Then went to the bank to pay some insurance. Went to my former office and chatted with some of my former officemates. Most of my teammates resigned already, some went to SG, and some just went to other companies. Visited my old cubicle. (Do I miss working? A bit, I guess. Only because of the lunch-outs and the midnight madness sales. heehee) Went home after some chikahan.

Estong did enjoy his elevator rides. He was laughing and giggling every time the elevator went up/down and everytime it stopped. Must be the feeling in his stomach, since the elevator is not so new, you would feel it going up and stopping.

And here’s our little boy during bedtime. Taking pictures of him at bedtime is becoming a habit of mine. Been taking his bedtime pics for 5 consecutive days already. He’s so used to the camera, sanay na sanay ng magpa-cute.

High Chair

At last, we got him a high chair. It’s also convertible to a table and chair. He’s been using this for two nights already and so far, he’s enjoying it. He’s been eating mostly all by himself. And he eats a lot. And we got to enjoy our mealtime as well, no more following him around (for now…). But we do feed him once in a while still and hold his glass of water. Funny, he has a sippy cup but he just pretends to drink from it. As in he would just put it in his mouth but wouldn’t drink from it heehee. So we just take it as a cue that he wanted to drink then offer him the glass (or cup) of water.

But at this section, he was more interested with the lighting rather than the books. He would sit and look at the fluorescent lighting, then he would stand up and would try to touch it.

Dinner Time

While dinner was being set, Estong walked towards the table and he pulled a chair. As if he can sit on his own ;D. He knows it’s time to eat. Or baka gutom lang talaga. He didn’t have a decent breakfast and lunch (bad mommy) today as we were at his dad’s company’s sportsfest.

Feed Me

He can eat on his own using his hands. He usually feeds himself when we are in fastfoods or restaurants, and it’s usually french fries. At home, I normally feed him while he’s playing or walking around. Eversince he learned how to walk, we couldn’t make him sit still during mealtime. But lately, I noticed that he now wants to sit on my lap during mealtime and he wants to have his own spoon. And the dining table is a mess, kinukutsara nya din ang food ko. (We should get him a high chair soon. Yes, he doesn’t have a high chair yet. I used to feed him in his stroller, and then he learned how to stand, and then he tried standing on his stroller. We then went to the mall to look for a high chair, then while he was trying it out, he attempted to stand again. Postponed muna ang high chair.) Fast forward to tonight, I was fixing his dinner on the table, then he went up to me and wanted to sit on my lap. So then he sat on my lap, then he grabbed the fork. I was mashing his food on my plate. Nakikitusok din sya. At may natusok syang food. I was still mashing his food. What happened next is a milestone. He put the fork into his mouth and ate. Yehey, he already knows how to use the utensils. He did it several times pero with assistance na from me sa pagtusok, pero sa pagsubo on his own na.

Took these pictures last night, in bed, after his bath, while waiting for him to fall asleep. He likes doing the ‘beautiful eyes’ trick in front of the camera. I have several videos of him doing it. I don’t even have to ask him to do it. He just does it the moment he saw the camera, even if he is crying.

Bargain Shopping

We did a bit of shopping today. We didn’t spend much though (because we didn’t have much to spend to begin with ;p.) But it made me happy nevertheless.

I got this book for Estong from Booksale.

And I got myself scrapbook mags while J got himself a book.

Went to Surplus Shop and bought my boy a jacket, a shirt (which he already has but in a different color) and basketball jerseys (which he will wear on his dad’s company’s sportsfest). I got myself a black sweatpants (i do hope this will hide my baby fats ;p).
