…to post, a lot to do. Busy organizing my digital stuff as well as my kalat in the house. Planning to scan all my xstitch patterns (I have a lot!) and get rid of them. Wanting to dispose my beads and other materials. A box and an album of pictures to scan. Transfer my pictures in CD to DVD. Old bags, clothes and other knick-knacks to give away. Wanting to scrap.
And as usual, leaving you with a few pictures…

~gave him two tabo to choose from, one is green and the other is orange. orange he chose. orange must be his favorite color.~

Today is laundry day. Thank God for washing machines. Our laundry area is at the back of our house. But since Estong keeps on following me there while I do the laundry (He slipped the last time he followed me), and I don’t want to do the laundry outside, J transferred the washing machine to our other bathroom. And here is my laundry area now.

How I wish I could have a real laundry area. I need to remember that when we build our dream house (*wish*). But we still need to sell our current house. Time to get updated with real estate news.
And here is my little boy doing his latest stunt.

The moment I turn my back on him, he’s either climbing onto something or chewing anything that he can put on his mouth.
More on the little action star…

After 2 weeks of being down, and a week of intemittent connection, our internet connection is finally up. I am just not sure until when it’s going to be up. I so *LOVE* SmartBro!!!
~Updates~
Had Estong’s passport picture taken last Saturday. Nope, we’re not going anywhere. We just thought of getting him his passport. Here he is after the pictorial, inside the studio, playing with my baby powder.

And here is his passport picture. He looks so grown-up and so gwapo. He’s wearing a white polo, with a blue necktie. We just bought the polo that day since the studio wanted him to wear a shirt with collar. I thought that getting him a necktie would make him look more pogi. And I must say, he looks so handsome in the picture. And his daddy calls him SM Boy because he looks like the men working in SM. They wear white polo and blue necktie, as well.

Right outside the studio is the mini ferris wheel ride for kids. Estong immediately ran towards it.

Since he seemed to look interested, we got tickets for the ride. I should be the one to join him in the ride, but I am not really fond of rides, and I was worried that I might not know what to do if Estong panics. So his daddy rode with him.

He did enjoy the first few minutes of the ride, but did get bored towards the
end. Maybe we should try the roller coaster next time. hehe
Had our Sunday breakfast at Jollibee. This is becoming a habit for us, to have our breakfast or meryenda at either Jollibee or McDonald’s. And it’s a great help to me, one less meal to prepare, especially now that we don’t have a househelp.

Took pictures of me and Estong. His pose looks weird, but actually he’s just tilting his head para magpa-cute na naman.

And this is me, with Estong on the background.

~Estong’s First Year~
Here are Estong’s first year monthly pictures, taken every 22nd of the month.
We celebrated his birthday every month, with new set of clothes for him (mostly gifts), a small cake with birthday candles, lots of pictures and a video of us singing happy birthday and blowing his birthday candles.

Ipinanganak syang maitim, pero pumuputi sya at kumikinis habang lumalaki.
Been quite busy these days. We don’t have a househelp. The chores are never ending. I can handle them, but having to take care of a very energetic little one while doing the chores is what makes them challenging.
Here’s what he’s up to now. I cannot leave him all alone, or else…

The first time he did this, I immediately put him down. Then I grabbed the camera, position him in front of the TV, and as I expected he climbed again, and I was able to capture it. Hehe Bad mommy!
More pictures…
Parang marunong magbasa.
I immediately grabbed the camera to capture this moment. And since I was in a rush, the picture was dark and a bit blurred.

That’s his basketball ring on his neck.

Last Tuesday, before his nap.

Last night, after his bath. Pa-cute talaga!

.:Thurs Sept28th:.
After the typhoon…

this isn’t our tree, it’s our neighbor’s, 3 houses from us
Hadn’t we trimmed our tree a few weeks before, this would have happened to us as well. But our wifi antenna didn’t make it. The pole went down our roof. Fortunately, J was able to bring it up again.
Since there was no electricity, we decided to go to Jollibee for meryenda.

estong all geared up
But we were not able to get out of the subdivision as the main streets were flooded, but not with rain water as the rain has stopped already. The water was muddy and was flowing really hard, parang waves sa Splash Island. We’re not sure if it came from a broken dam in Cavite or from subdivisions in higher areas. It didn’t really bother me though since the water just passed by our street.

may picture pa talaga, first flood ni estong
The day after, that’s when we saw the damage done by the flood on the houses in the main roads. Flood water went inside their homes, and now their matresses were lined outside, as well as their appliances, sofas, clothes. And it was so difficult to clean up as there was no water supply as well. We’re just thankful that we weren’t affected by the flood.
.:Fri Sept29th:.
Went to Glorietta. Yay!, no toll fee (free way daw) salamat naman kaya nag-skyway pa kami. Had lunch at Oliver’s. Went home in the afternoon, still no water and electricity, so we decided to spend the night in Marikina (free toll na naman!)
.:Sat Sept30th:.
Estong’s bath time sa batya in Marikina.

Returned to Laguna in the afternoon, no water and electricity still. Went to Festival Mall and had dinner at Kenny Rogers.

Tried to buy mineral water from the grocery, but ubos na lahat, so decided to get the small bottles to use for the night. Spent the night fanning Estong to sleep, actually J did more of the paypay.
.:Sun Oct1st:.
Despite the typhoon, may plants were still blooming.

And off to the mall again. Went to Southmall, but it was so hot, so decided to transfer to Festival Mall. Estong slept in the car with J. Ang sarap ng tulog. Namiss yata ang aircon. I went to the grocery to buy water. Salamat may wilkins na.

Had meryenda/dinner in Lasa.

Then kiddie rides again for Estong. His daddy always makes him ride the cars whenever we are at the mall.

Paypayan na naman sa gabi.
.:Mon Oct2nd:.
Our helper left. And since there was still no water and electricity and no helper, J took a leave from work and we went again to Marikina to spend the night. Got a text from our neighbor that night, may kuryente na, but we didn’t go home since it’s already late.
.:Tues Oct3rd:.
After J’s work, we are back to home base!
